    Technical Product Intern

    January 2025 - Present

    Flux Payment Solutions

Bridging Strategy and Technical Product Execution in a Crypto Fintech Startup

During my time at Duke University, I collaborated with Flux Payments, a crypto-focused fintech startup, through the Duke Advanced Degree Consulting Club (DACC). Initially, I led a 4-member team to develop a go-to-market (GTM) strategy, conducting competitive analysis, mapping the merchant onboarding journey, and identifying key differentiators in a crowded digital payments space.

Following the project’s success, I was hired as a Technical Product Intern for the summer. In this role, I transitioned from strategy to execution, working directly with the founding team to build core product infrastructure. One of my first major contributions was the development and launch of a custom WooCommerce Payment Gateway plugin. The plugin allowed e-commerce businesses to seamlessly redirect customers to Flux's checkout platform, significantly enhancing the merchant experience and reducing onboarding friction. This hands-on work gave me a robust understanding of the intersection between frontend UX and backend architecture, especially in the context of e-commerce platforms.

I also got to work in designing the Automated Nexus System which is a toggle-based solution for automating tax compliance across U.S. states, simplifying legal setup for merchants. In addition to technical development, I led a cross-functional team of two, managing agile sprints, QA cycles, and product refinement based on early merchant feedback. My efforts directly contributed to onboarding Flux’s initial merchants and preparing the product for market readiness.

This experience gave me a hands-on understanding of early-stage product building, crypto payments, and the bridge between user needs and technical delivery, a rare and invaluable exposure in a fast-moving startup environment.

    Sparc World

My first Hands-on Technical Product Strategy Implementation

As part of a project-based course at Duke University focused on design thinking and innovation, I joined a team tasked with developing a product extension strategy for a growing ed-tech recruiting platform.

Our goal was to optimize the platform’s recruitment process while crafting a go-to-market strategy for a new product feature aimed at university partnerships. I personally conducted over 40 stakeholder interviews, developed user personas, and created empathy maps to better understand user pain points. Using the product strategy frameworks, my team and I identified differentiating value drivers and helped design a functional prototype.

I also benchmarked pricing and hiring models from 10+ competitors to inform the final strategy. Our work resulted in a validated product roadmap and marketing strategy, ready for immediate rollout. It was well-received by the platform's product team and provided them with both tactical and strategic direction.

    Senior Analyst

    June 2021 - February 2023

    Deloitte

      A Real Consulting Ground

My time at Deloitte India was a true immersion into the world of consulting. Intense, fast-moving, and deeply formative. As a Senior Analyst in the Risk Advisory team, I worked across diverse projects with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to family-run enterprises, each demanding a different lens and level of rigor.

With Adani Group, I was part of multiple strategic audits across their renewable energy and infrastructure verticals (World's largest Hybrid Energy Plant), including site visits to remote project locations in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. My work involved scrutinizing everything from statutory approvals to safety protocols, but a major focus was on the supply chain flow—tracking vendor timelines, material movement, and logistics challenges that were causing delays. We identified bottlenecks in procurement and recommended process shifts that improved project timelines and compliance preparedness.

In parallel, I worked with Thejo Engineering, a family-owned rubber manufacturing client, where I evaluated phased expansion costs for a new facility. This wasn’t just about capital forecasting, I dug deep into their inventory management, vendor contracts, and raw material logistics, revealing inefficiencies in their procurement cycle. By recommending smarter batch processing and tiered vendor agreements, we delivered cost savings of over $2 million while reinforcing long-term resilience in their supply chain.

Another significant engagement was with K Raheja Group, a Mumbai-based real estate firm preparing for an IPO. I helped design SOPs for a 20-million sq. ft. post-merger portfolio, standardizing vendor onboarding, document flows, and operational processes—laying the groundwork for scalable governance and institutional readiness.

Throughout these projects, I built tools and products to improve vendor performance and safety tracking by 40%, developed Power BI dashboards for real-time portfolio monitoring, and conducted competitive analysis to support broader business strategy. I worked across different sectors such as construction, supply chain, manufacturing, and infrastructure and across multiple geographies, switching contexts and solving problems on the ground.

Deloitte taught me how to wear many hats such as that of an auditor, strategist, product thinker, and operator. I wasn’t just analyzing businesses; I was embedded in their decision-making, execution, and transformation. It was an environment that pushed me to think clearly under pressure, structure ambiguity, and drive impact through detail—all of which continue to shape how I work today. It was here that I learnt how to think like a consultant, act like an operator, and adapt like an entrepreneur.

    Technical Head

    June 2020 - August 2020

    New Normal Technologies. Inc

Building Resilient Product Strategy in a Time of Crisis

In the summer of 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I joined New Normal Technologies, a startup focused on building and distributing UV sanitation devices designed to keep workplaces and public facilities safe.

This was a moment when uncertainty reigned across supply chains, customer behavior had shifted overnight, and safety had become a business-critical concern. I stepped into a hybrid role that combined product strategy, sales optimization, and operations leadership, with a clear mandate: enable business continuity for clients through accessible and effective sanitation solutions. As Technical Head – Product & Sales, I led a team of five engineers to rethink and streamline our go-to-market model for physical products.

We optimized our e-commerce presence across multiple platforms, improved product discovery and conversion funnels, and introduced tiered bundles to better suit the procurement needs of different customer segments—especially FMCG and retail clients, whose operations had to remain active despite the constraints. But product marketing alone wasn’t enough. The real challenge lay in managing physical product delivery and ensuring operational reliability during a time when supply chains were globally strained. We redesigned our fulfillment strategy—working closely with warehousing partners and last-mile logistics providers to maintain consistent delivery timelines, even in containment zones. We built a responsive customer support loop to track device performance and troubleshoot in real-time, ensuring our products not only sold but also sustained their intended impact on-site.

Simultaneously, I partnered directly with client organizations to design COVID-19 compliance frameworks, integrating our products into their SOPs across warehouses, offices, and retail spaces. By combining product innovation with process design, we helped these clients reduce their workplace infection rates by over 70%, ensuring both safety and business continuity. Our combined efforts led to a revenue increase of over $100,000, but more importantly, we built trust in the market at a time when safety was a differentiator.

This experience taught me how to manage a hardware-driven product lifecycle, optimize distribution under crisis, and lead with empathy in product design. It was my first hands-on experience in solving real-world problems at the intersection of product, supply chain, and business resilience—an experience I carry with me into every role today.
